LDK Solar calls on takeover chatter

Calls in the multicrystalline solar wafers maker LDK Solar (LDK) are seeing unusual interest on renewed buyout chatter. Shares are currently up 6.4% to $6.72. Shares have made a text book rounded bottom and look to meet the 50 SMA where it could see resistance. 

According to our Option Sonar, LDK call options volume of 11,000 contracts compares to put volume of 617 contracts which is 2x the daily average. Implied volatility in the April calls are at 170, puts are at 179, the average option implied volatility over the last 26-weeks is 129.  Seeing the most interest is the April 10 where 4,440 contracts have traded and 2,572 are currently existing.
