On the last day of the year, we didn't see much going on in the market, but a few names did see some unusual option activity.

Micron Technology Inc. (MU) has been a great trade, with the options activity right ahead of earnings showing a strong bias to the upside. Prices on Tuesday morning broke below a key price level at $10, where in the Elite chat room I gave the set up for (MU) explaining how this could be a great risk/reward setup. Today, prices hit a new 52 week high and option activity the last few days looks like $11 could be in the near future. Members of Optionsizzle Elite and Alerts are long an April 10/11 bull call spread at $.35.

Titanium Metals Corp. (TIE), was a nice winner for our subscribers and also for followers on twitter. Traders were seen stepping in yesterday into the February and March 15 calls looking for prices to move higher. Prices have been on a run since breaking out of a major resistance level and could push to $15 before seeing the next level of resistance.

In last nights market and option video, I talked about how Ebix Inc (Nasdaq: EBIX) could turn out to be a bear trap like how OmniVision Technologies, Inc.(Nasdaq: OVTI) had the similar head and shoulder formation, but trapped short sellers that anticipated the trade and squeezed them out on yesterday's rip higher.

Brigham Exploration (BEXP) saw a pick up in option buying yesterday, which I posted an alert in our Elite chat room and on twitter page this morning. Prices broke higher this morning and then pulled back giving me an opportunity to jump into the Jan 15 option calls for .40 cents and sold at the end of the day for a 100% profit. Options where seeing more interest today, but prices are pushing into a big technical resistance level.

The unusual option buying in Titanium Metals Corp. (TIE) on Friday lead to an explosive move in the stock and options today with members locking in a 100% gains in just one day.  I take a look at the option activity from Friday that lead today's move with prices seeing a technical break out. Titanium Metals Corp. (TIE) January 15 call strike was still seeing more action on the offer.

Options expiration is also interesting to see where prices close and how option pinning works. Looking at Research In Motion Ltd. (RIMM) prices gets pinned at $70 and Apple Inc. (AAPL) gets pinned at $195.

Anadys Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ANDS) gaped higher in pre market like I mentioned in last night's video, but was met with a lot of selling before the market opened. I talk about the range it give on a trade to the upside and why you have to be quick trading these kind of stocks.
