Seagate Technology (STX) is seeing some bullish option buying take place in the January 19 call strike. More than 5,600 contracts have traded at that strike, exceeding the current open interest of 1,239 contracts or increase of about 300% in volume.

Biogen (BIIB) calls are seeing early call activity with 4x the daily expected already hitting the tape. More than 12K calls have hit with the January 55 call strike seeing the focus of the volume with 7,119 contracts traded.

Today, Citigroup (C) was the most active stock by option volume with 1,519,365 contracts traded on the day with bias on the call side of the board.

The PowerShares DB US Dollar Index Bullish (UUP) held support today at $22.75 but put activity outpaced calls today.
